Bed Bugs

Although they can be extremely annoying, they can be battled safely and successfully. The most effective way to eliminate a bed bug infestation is a pest management program developed by a professional and licensed exterminator. Mac Pest Control will inspect your home for bed bugs and then develop an intensive bed bug treatment plan. Success of this plan is dependent on the cooperation of the resident and/or landlord.

After consulting with your technician, Here are some things you should do prior to and during your bed bug treatment:
  1. Remove all sheets, blankets, mattress covers pillow cases etc from the beds. We recommend transporting linens in plastic bags to prevent the spread of infestation.
  2. Vacuum all carpets, inside closets, dressers, nightstands, furniture, baseboards and bed frames. Make sure to vacuum every square inch
  3. You may need to disassemble the bed, separating the mattress the head board and frame. Consult with your technician prior to doing this. In certain cases, He may also recommend encasing the mattress box spring and pillows in impenetrable zippered bed bug covers or removing your mattress. Mac Pest Control can order these bed bug encasements at residents request.

All labor and service materials will be furnished to provide the maximum safety required by federal, state and city regulations. Results of services are strictly relative to and dependent upon the cooperation given by the customer and/or tenants as to sanitary conditions, maintenance, accessibility of the building and/or prompt notification of a pest sighting by customers. If customer or tenant does not cooperate, service may continue, but results cannot be assured and additional charges for service may be applied.
